HOW DO I RELOAD MY MAXICASH ACCOUNT ?

Log into your MaxiCash account with your valid username and password.
Click on “reload”.
Select a reload option amongst the ones displayed.
Select a voucher/enter the amount you would like to reload.
Enter a reference as required on the quick quote page.
Enter details of mode of payment and follow the prompts
Your account will be reloaded.

CAN I RELOAD A FRIEND’S MAXICASH ACCOUNT USING MY CREDIT CARD ?

Ideally you wouldn’t want to share your credit card details, however You are free to reload any account. All card transactions on MaxiCash are 3D secured, you will be required to provide a confirmation PIN by your bank.

WHAT HAPPENS TO MY MAXICASH ACCOUNT IN CASE MY PHONE IS STOLEN ?

Your MaxiCash account is PIN protected for your safety. In the event that your phone is lost or stolen, Please contact the MaxiCash support at info@maxicashapp.com so that we can temporarily block your account.

CAN I TRANSFER MY MAXICASH ACCOUNT TO A NEW CELLPHONE NUMBER ?

Yes, please log a request with our support team at info@maxicashapp.com

HOW DO I SEND AIRTIME TO A LOVED ONE WHO DOES NOT HAVE THE MAXICASH APP ?

Log into your MaxiCash account with your valid username and password.
Click on “Buy”
Click on Airtime and Data bundles
Select a country
Select an airtime provider
Select the amount of airtime you would like to buy.
Enter the cell number of the airtime recipient
Click “Continue”.
Your airtime has been sent.

HOW DO I BUY AIRTIME ON MAXICASH ?

Log into your MaxiCash account with your valid username and password.
Make sure your MaxiCash account is loaded if not start by the reloading process
Click on “Buy”
Click on Airtime and Data bundles
Select a country
Select an airtime provider
Send the amount of airtime you would like to buy.
Enter the number of the airtime recipient
Click “continue”
Your airtime has been sent.

HOW DO I PAY MY SCHOOL FEES ?

Log into your MaxiCash account with your valid username and password.
Click “Pay”
Click “Pay Schools”
Select a country
Select an institution
Select a voucher/ enter the amount you would like to pay the school.
Enter the student number as a payment reference.
Click “continue”
Your transaction will be completed.

HOW DO I CREATE A NEW PIN ?

Open the menu bar at the top-left corner.
Click on your name:” Hi xxxx”.
Click on “change pin”.

WHAT IF I FORGOT MY PASSWORD ?

On the log in page there is a link for forgot password.
Click the link and follow the instructions.

HOW DO I VIEW MY PAST MAXICASH TRANSACTIONS ?

Open the menu bar at the top-left corner.
Click on “My transactions”.
A history of all your transactions would be displayed with their descriptions and the dates of transactions.

HOW DO I INVITE FRIENDS ON MAXICASH ?

Open the Menu bar at the top-left corner.
Click “invite friends”.
Select how you would like to invite your friend(s).
Enter friend details and click the send button.
Your invitation has been sent.

IF MY PARENTS DO NOT HAVE MAXICASH, HOW CAN THEY SEND ME MONEY ?

They can reload your MaxiCash account via electronic funds transfer and use your cell number as a reference (DRC & South Africa).
They can make a deposit in our TMB bank account and use your cell number as a reference (DRC only).

CAN I CANCEL A MAXICASH TRANSACTION ?

Airtime purchases are fulfilled immediately and cannot be cancelled.
Payment transactions can be cancelled if the beneficiary has not requested a withdrawal yet. Please contact our support team at info@maxicashapp.com.

CAN I SEND MONEY I HAVE IN MY MAXICASH ACCOUNT INTO A PERSONAL BANK ACCOUNT ?

Yes, Log into your MaxiCash account with your valid username and password.
Click on “withdraw” (service available in South Africa only)
Click on “In Bank Account”
Select the voucher / enter the amount you would like to withdraw
Enter a reference.
Click on “continue”
Enter the bank details (you can opt to save to the app for further use)
Read through the summary and click on “Withdraw”

WHAT IS A WITHDRAWAL ?

The withdrawal option allows a user to withdraw their money from MaxiCash into a bank Account (South Africa) or Mobile Money.

WHAT ARE THE WITHDRAWAL OPTIONS ?

User can withdraw their money from MaxiCash into a bank Account (South Africa), Mobile Money or MaxiCash Visa card. Please consult the withdrawal list on the MaxiCash menu page for full list of countries supported.

WHERE CAN I SEND MONEY TO ?

Users can transfer their MaxiCash money to any other user on the MaxiCash Platform. Cash payments and withdrawals are only supported to South Africa and the DRC currently.

HOW MUCH IS THE FEE FOR TRANSFER IN MAXICASH ?

Please consult the limits and price list on the website and App menu.

WHAT ARE MAXICASH TRADING HOURS ?

The MaxiCash app is available 24hrs a day.
We work hard to ensure that all payments are fulfilled in less than 1 hour. In the unlikely event that it way take longer, the longest turnaround time recorded is 12 hours depending on the provider.
The MaxiCash support team is available daily from 8 am to 6 pm (GMT+2).

CAN I USE MY MAXICASH ACCOUNT TO SEND MONEY ANYTIME/ ANY DAY OF THE WEEK ?

WHAT IS KYC OR FICA ?

We are required by law to keep record of all individuals using our money transfer service. KYC or “Know Your Customer” are a set of steps that allow us to identify and verify the identity clients that wish to user our money transfer transactions in line with anti money laundering laws.

WHAT DO I NEED FOR KYC OR FICA ?

Take a picture of the first page of your ID/passport/Drivers licence/ Asylum seeker document. A positive identification needs to include full names, date of birth and nationality and/or physical address (document expiry date is needed, where applicable)
You are also required to take a selfie.
You may be requested to do a video call verification as well.

WHICH MOBILE PHONES ARE COMPATIBLE TO MAXICASH ?

IOS and Android devices are compatible.

WHAT IS THE DAILY LIMIT FOR WITHDRAWAL ?

Please consult our limit and price list on the website or Mobile App menu.

IS MY PERSONAL BANK ACCOUNT DETAILS/ INFORMATION SAFE ON MAXICASH ?

Yes, your safety always comes first with MaxiCash. Our system is secured With encryption and 3D secure (credit cards). We use tokenization and we do not store your details on the device.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR A RECIPIENT TO RECEIVE MONEY SENT ON MAXICASH?

Between 1 to 24 hours for bank accounts.
Within an hour for mobile payments.

MY CARD IS NOT WORKING ON MAXICASH

MaxiCash only accepts 3D secure enabled credit or cheque cards; please confirm with your bank that your cards are compatible, alternatively please use PayPal for your MaxiCash reloads.

MY CELL NUMBER HAS CHANGED, HOW DO I UPDATE IT ON MAXICASH
