These Terms and Conditions are effective from 31 March 2016. The Terms and Conditions may change from time to time, but changes will only be effective from the date they are made and will not change the terms on which you previously used the Service.
The MaxiCash virtual wallet is a mobile application for African expats to purchase electronic cash vouchers and various mobile services such as airtime and data bundles. These vouchers can me forwarded to their family and friends in their home countries in Africa.
In these Terms and Conditions, the terms “MaxiCash”, “Pluritone (Pty) Ltd”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Pluritone (Pty) Ltd, together with its employees, directors, affiliates, parent company, successors, and assigns. The terms “customer”, “you” and “your” refer to users of the Service, whether in their capacity as Senders, Recipients, or visitors of our App or website.
MaxiCash Mobile App was developed to allow African expats and the public at large to support their friends and families in Africa by purchasing and sending cash vouchers, electronics gift vouchers, mobile airtime and data bundles. Users must be 18 years or older.
The MaxiCash App can be downloaded and used from anywhere in the world; however, the beneficiaries must be on the African countries supported by our services as listed on the Mobile App. The App is compatible to iPhone, iPad, Android devices and Windows Phone.
While we thrive to ensure that purchased vouchers are delivered instantly; depending on the providers some vouchers may have a delivery lead-time of up to 24 hours.
All our service fees are provided, calculated and quoted on the App.
The MaxiCash App relies on aggregated third party information sources (including exchange rates under from PayGate (Pty) Ltd (www.paygate.co.za), and we do not guarantee that the rates match any particular benchmark source at any given time.
Pluritone takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of vouchers and mobile services sold on this Mobile app, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery.
COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
Pluritone shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). Credit card and cheque card transactions will be acquired for Pluritone via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for Standard Bank of South Africa. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no credit card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
Customer details will be stored by Pluritone separately from card details, which are entered by the client on Pay Gate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express credit cards or cheque cards; as well as by EFT payment to our account or PayPal and Pepele Mobile.
REFUND AND CANCELLATION
You may cancel your transaction for a full refund at any time before the transaction is processed on the platform and a voucher has been purchased.
You are responsible for ensuring the payment details you provide are accurate. Once payment instructions have been executed by MaxiCash, transactions cannot be reversed and MaxiCash will not be liable in any way for any loss you suffer as a result of a transaction being carried out in accordance with your instructions.
In the event that you want to cancel your account profile with MaxiCash and redeem all pending cash vouchers, please contact our support team on email@example.com to initiate the cancellation process. Please note that this may take up to 14 days.
